APPLICATION AND AUDITION PROCESS
Trial Project for Professional Training in Musical Theatre
Our goal is to select, in a transparent and professional manner, the artists who will be part of the Trial Project for Professional Training in Musical Theatre — a program marking the first step toward an official bachelor’s degree in Bolivia.
*The project will only open with a minimum of 35 enrolled students.

1. Application Form
Access our form below and complete it with all required information.
Required documents:
Completed and signed form.
Artistic résumé (max. 2 pages).
Portrait photo (front view, neutral background).
Copy of ID or passport.
Links to pre-screening videos.
Proof of payment for audition fee.
All files must be compiled into a single PDF document and sent to: academia@compania-artanon.com

3. Participation Requirements
Minimum age: 18 years old at the time of audition.
Full commitment and availability for the entire program.
Basic skills in at least one of the three areas (acting, singing, or dance) and willingness to train in the others.
Good physical condition for stage performance.
Must reside in Bolivia (foreign residents may also apply).
4. Pre-Screening (Video Audition)
All applicants must submit separate video links titled
“Pre-screening Artanon 2025 – Applicant’s Full Name”, including:
a. Introduction
Max. 10 seconds: full name and pronouns (optional).
Look at the camera, with good lighting and clear sound.
b. Singing (2 contrasting songs)
One musical theatre song composed before 1970.
One song composed after 1970 in a contrasting style.
Duration: 60–90 seconds each.
With accompaniment (live or backing track), no a cappella.
Framing: medium shot (waist up).
c. Acting (2 contrasting monologues)
One contemporary (after 1950).
One classical (before 1950, elevated language).
Duration: 60–90 seconds each.
No musical theater monologues accepted.
d. Dance
Duration: 60–90 seconds.
Include at least one turn, one jump, and one extension/kick.
Free style (jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, stylized folklore, etc.).
Framing: full shot (entire body visible at all times).
e. Wild Card (optional)
60–90 seconds showcasing a special or unique skill.
5. Pre-Screening
Evaluation
Multidisciplinary jury (singing, acting, dance).
Criteria: technique, expressiveness, musicality, interpretation, and stage presence.
6. In-person Callback
Live singing (pieces may be repeated or new ones requested).
Live monologue (same or new piece).
Group dance/audition class.
Brief interview to assess motivation and availability.
Format:
Attire:
Comfortable, fitted rehearsal wear allowing freedom of movement (leggings, tights, dance shirts/tops).
Jazz or ballet shoes as required.
Hair tied back securely; no accessories or jewelry.
Not allowed: loose sportswear, jeans, long skirts, or movement restricting garments.
7. Results and Enrollment
Selected applicants will be announced on Artanon’s official website and social media
Signing of commitment letter and delivery of program schedule.
Confirmation of tuition payment or scholarship assignment.
